Decarbonizers are equipment for removing dissolved carbon dioxide (co₂) from gaseous and liquid media. The purpose of decarbonizers is to remove co₂, which causes corrosion of equipment, disrupts the operation of ion exchange filters and reduces the overall quality of process water, as well as the degreasing of artesian waters (additional oxidation of ferrous components followed by removal of the resulting solid sediment in mechanical filters). Areas of application: thermal power plants (CHP, boiler houses), artesian water treatment, water treatment in crop production, hydroponics, animal husbandry, poultry, fisheries and others.
